Due on Sept. 17th or 19th

This week I would like you to choose some interesting man made objects like tools, baseball glove, lacrosse stick, fishing reel, kitchen implements etc. and do two pages of contour drawings from life. Contour is a slow inspection where you try and move your hand and eye along at the same time…feeling as if you are touching the object you are drawing with your eyes.

Do one object per page and try and spend at least 15-20 minutes per drawing. You have over a week to do these so pick objects that are interesting to you and have fun studying the forms with contour line!
