Homework for week 2…due Tuesday Sept. 2nd
For this week I would like you to choose a tool or other interesting object to draw from life in your sketchbook. Focus on the contour of the object to describe the form of what you see. Remember in contour drawing,you follow the edge of objects slowly as if you were touching them with your pencil to record all of the details that you see. Just about any object could make an interesting subject like a baseball glove, fishing reel, a cooking implement like a whisk, or a pair of binoculars. Choose something you find interesting and have fun exploring it in your drawing. Please label in the lower right corner with a circled 2.

HTCS Art Homework for week 1…due Tuesday August 25th when you come to class
For your first homework assignment I would like for you to draw any kind of shoe that is interesting to you. Please do this in your new sketchbook and number it with a circle around it in the lower right hand corner like this—> It shouldn’t take more than 20-30 minutes to do a great job and I hope you have fun doing this assignment!
