To celebrate Catholic Schools Week I would like you to choose a sculpture of an Angel to draw in your sketch book.  Study the light and shadow to describe the forms that you see.

For this week I would like you to choose a favorite video game character to draw in your sketchbook. If you love the simplicity of 8 bit that is fine or you can choose a more updated character.

Have fun and do your best!

For your homework this week I would like you to draw a flower in a  vase or glass of water. As always the best option is to work from real life, however if you can’t find a flower then you can research on line.

Take your time and observe the details like refraction and shadows. This painting is by Wayne Thiebaud, we will be working with some of his images in the coming weeks.

For this first homework of the new semester I would like you to do a drawing of your dessert. You can use color if you choose to.
